ID CARDS

ALL STUDENTS (studying for more than 3 weeks) will be issued
with an OPSA Identification Card – you need to visit or contact the OPSA Office to
process this.
What do you need?
Dunedin Students:
• Your Polytechnic Student Number, or preferably your Polytechnic
Tax Invoice.
• First time OP students also need photo identification (ie driver’s
licence, passport).
Non-Dunedin Students
• Students studying at campuses outside Dunedin will have your ID photographs
taken which will be processed in Dunedin.
• Students studying by correspondence and living outside Dunedin can send 1) a copy of your Polytechnic Tax Invoice or Polytechnic
Student Number, 2) your name, and 3) your course, and 3) a passport style photo, to the OPSA
Office or email them to the Secetary.
And we will process your ID Card and send it out to you. Please
include 4) the non-Dunedin address you would like the card to be posted to.
This card will be your access to
• Bill Robertson Library (will need to be activated at
the Library)
• UNIPOL Sports Centre, Anzac Avenue
• Clubs & Societies Centre, Albany Street (OUSA)
• Student Health & Counselling
• Discounts throughout the country
• Open Access computer suite
• Student Job Search
• ISIC student travel card applications
• Photocopying credit can be loaded on to your card at
the Library
• Printing credit loaded at the Open Access Suite or H-Block
(opposite the lifts)
• Students studying off the Dunedin campus are not be
charged for services that they can not access (eg Student Health,
UNIPOL).
ID cards remain the property
of OPSA, who reserve the right to confiscate ID cards in the
event of fraudulent use or breaches of regulations
