The Student Health Centre
The Student Health Centre is managed by a team of health professionals committed to your overall well-being during your life as a student.
We provide the same services offered by your family doctor, for example:
- Health education
- Health screening tests
- Nutrition advice
- Vaccinations and some minor surgery options.
For students who have paid the Student Health Levy as part of their fees, the cost for a consultation is $15, or it is free if you have a current Community Services card. If you haven’t paid the Student Health Levy, consultations are $40.
Please note: Charges may apply for some procedures.
Making an appointment:
- Appointments can be made for doctors, nurses or
counsellors by contacting the receptionist. - Please bring your Community Services Card and
Student ID with you to your appointment. - Please give least four hour’s notice if you are unable to
attend your appointment to avoid a charge of $15.
