ISIC Travel Card
Full-time students can purchase an ISIC card which will get student discounts on travel and more around the world. ISIC cards cost $25 and are available online or from STA Travel (261 George St, Dunedin).

Community Services Card
Helps you with the costs of health care. Show your card to the pharmacy, doctor, or other service provider to get discounted or free healthcare and prescriptions.
Intercity offers a 12 month Flexi Pass which basically works like a prepay phone card. The more hours you pre purchase means the bigger the discount. You can use it for city travel, intercity travel and even the Interislander ferry and Newmans coaches.
